RANGKANG FISIKA SERIES 2 : Book Review Session on “Dasar-Dasar Metode Geolistrik” Successfully Held

Banda Aceh, February 26, 2026 – The Department of Physics FMIPA Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), in collaboration with the Master’s Program in Physics, successfully conducted another academic discussion forum through the Rangkang Fisika monthly seminar series. Held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, the event featured Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Syukri, S.Si., M.T., IPM, ASEAN.Eng from the Department of Physics FMIPA USK as the keynote speaker.

In this session, Prof. Syukri presented a book review and discussion of “Dasar-Dasar Metode Geolistrik” (Fundamentals of Geoelectrical Methods), a topic highly relevant to geophysics, environmental studies, and earth exploration. The seminar provided participants with deeper insights into the principles, applications, and importance of geoelectrical methods in scientific research and practical field investigations.

Conducted in a hybrid format from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM WIB, the seminar attracted participation from lecturers, students, researchers, and practitioners. Participants actively engaged in the discussion, exchanging ideas and exploring the implementation of geoelectrical methods across various research and industrial applications.

Through the Rangkang Fisika program, the Department of Physics FMIPA USK continues to strengthen its role in fostering academic collaboration and scientific dissemination. This activity also reflects the institution’s commitment to fostering a research culture and advancing scientific knowledge, particularly in physics and its interdisciplinary applications.
