USK Master’s Program in Physics Achieves Excellent Accreditation from LAMSAMA

The Master’s Program in Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Syiah Kuala University (USK) has once again achieved a proud accomplishment by receiving Excellent Accreditation from the Independent Accreditation Agency for Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (LAMSAMA).

This decision is outlined in LAMSAMA Decision Letter No. 195/SK/LAMSAMA/Akred/M/VII/2025, which states that the Master’s Degree Program in Physics meets the criteria for Excellent Accreditation. This accreditation certificate is valid for two years, from July 3, 2025, to July 2, 2027.

This achievement is the result of the hard work of the entire academic community of the Master’s Program in Physics, the support of university leadership, and cross-unit collaboration within the FMIPA USK. Special thanks are extended to the alums for their support, contributions, and active role in building the program’s reputation and quality, which has led to this highest recognition.

Excellent Accreditation is recognition of the quality of higher education delivery that meets national and international standards, encompassing governance, curriculum, faculty quality, and graduate outcomes.
